Decide to Try
Decide to try
What does that even mean?
Well, if you never try, then you will never fail.
Okay, how is that a bad thing? never fail?
Well, although you will never fail, you will also never succeed.
If you don’t try something,
you will never know what the outcome could have been. You may guess, speculate, hypothesize, conclude …., but you just will never know.
We all have just one life to live, and nobody comes out alive, so why not live, I mean truly live. Dare to believe, and do what you think MAY be impossible. Dare to TRY.
I know sometimes, it may feel like the odds are stacked up against you, but if you have a desire to rise above all the limitations life, people and circumstances have placed on you, and SUCCEED, then you have to take a chance, you have to TRY.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Maybe, just maybe, if we try, we will see that after all, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
If you never try, you will never know
Don’t you think you owe it to yourself to give life your all so that you have fewer regrets in retrospect? A lot of research has shown that most people at the end of their lives do not regret the things they failed at, but they regret more the things they never tried. They regret the chances they never took. They end up with a lot of What Ifs? A lot of coulda, woulda, shoulda.
While you still have the chance, you can rewrite your story, and make a masterpiece out of your life. You have it in you, but you need to work to bring it out.
I will leave you with this one last quote
As always I love to hear your thoughts.
